Prague

Prague, known as the City of a Hundred Spires and a UNESCO monument . One of the most beautiful cities in the world it is a dynamic city, both ancient and modern, but above all it is a city that is cosmopolitan through and through. The architecture is beautiful and there are many places of interest, the Old Town Hall with the famous A Prague Astronomical Clock, the winding lanes of the Jewish Quarter, the Gothic Charles Bridge and the beautiful Baroque Church of St. Nicholas in the Lesser Town. There are the Palace Gardens set away from the bustle of the city, Pet with a lookout tower reminiscent of a small Eiffel Tower and of course Prague Castle, the largest castle in the world. Everywhere you go Prague is welcoming with busy cafes and eateries beckoning you in throughout.

Budapest

Danube Cruise and Stay in StyleThe capital of Hungary, Budapest is full of history and beauty. UNESCO World Heritage Committee listed the view of the Danube embankments and the Buda Castle District – one of the most beautiful and romantic parts of the city of Budapest – as a World Heritage site, giving home to some of the most important historical monuments in Hungary. While nearly 800 years passed since it has been originally founded, its beauty still stands unparalleled, despite earthquakes, fires, sieges and world wars. The buildings themselves in Budapest bear tell-tale signs of recent and ancient history. Both the Pest and Buda embankments of the Danube stretch from the Liberty Bridge all the way up to the Margaret Bridge, the area encompassed by the Chain Bridge and some of the buildings belonging to the Technical University, the Gell© Bath, the Gell©rt Hill with the Statue of Liberty and the Citadel, the Castle of Buda, the Baroque churches and Turkish baths of the so-called Water Town – these are all parts of the World Heritage today.

Prices are based on two people sharing a private cabin on board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, a Twin/Double standard room in Prague and Budapest. Sharing a private twin Category E cabin on board the AmaViola (or another ship depending on date). Economy seats on Eurostar and other trains. Economy flights to and from London (where applicable). Single supplements apply.
